AB OHS requires at least 1 first aider on every shift, including contractors and volunteers.
At 101 First Aid, we specialize in group on-site training. Estimated times do not include breaks. Prices do not include GST. Combined courses require a minimum of 4 participants in the higher level class.
Pricing Example:
8 SFA + 3 EFA + 1 CPR = 12 students
(6x $125 + 2x $100) + (3x $90) + (1x $50) = $1270

Who is this for?
Workers who need to update their CPR/AED Level C each year
Ideal for those who want to learn CPR and AED use without the additional skills
Blended (3.5 hrs in class + 2.5 hrs online)
Online learning time varies by student
Blended students must show their completion certificate before the in-class skills training indicating they completed the online modules and review
Recertification (3.5 hrs in class)
It is strongly recommended to read the first aid manual prior to class.
Recert students must show their current first aid certificate before class
Expired certificates must take the 1 Day or Blended course
Blended Recertification (2.5 hrs in class + 2 hrs online)
Online learning time varies by student
Students must show their online completion certificate and their current first aid certificate before class. CPR/AED is the only course with Blended Recert combination.


Emergency First Aid C (aka. Basic First Aid C)
Who is this for?
Entrepreneurs with fewer than 50 workers (including staff, volunteers, and contractors)
Ideal for those taking Basic First Aid for the first time or prefer a slower pace
Blended (5 hrs in class + 4 hrs online)
Online learning time varies by student
Blended students must show their completion certificate before the in-class skills training indicating they completed the online modules and review
Recertification (5 hrs in class)
It is strongly recommended to read the first aid manual prior to class.
Recert students must show their current first aid certificate before class
Expired certificates must take the 1 Day or Blended course


Standard First Aid C (aka. Intermediate First Aid C)
Who is this for?
Workers who don't have first aid certification, or their certification has expired
Entrepreneurs with 50 or more workers (including staff, volunteers, and contractors)
or those who work in a high hazard environmentOften required for people who work with children, special needs, or elderly; healthcare professionals; and teaching/coaching positions
Strongly recommended for parents and relatives of small children and seniors
2 Day Course (14 hrs in class)
Ideal for those taking Intermediate First Aid for the first time or prefer a slower pace
Blended (7.5 hrs in class + 8 hrs online)
Online learning time varies by student
Blended students must show their completion certificate before the in-class skills training indicating they completed the online modules and review
Recertification (7.5 hrs in class)
It is strongly recommended to read the first aid manual prior to class
Recert students must show their current first aid certificate before class
Expired certificates must take the 2 Day or Blended course


Standard Child Care B
Who is this for?
May be required for childcare providers. Please check with your employer to confirm
Certification is valid for 3 years
Level B courses cannot be combined with Level C courses
This course is required if taking Child Care First Aid for the first time
It is strongly recommended to read the Child Care manual prior to class
Recert students must show their current first aid certificate before class
Expired certificates must take the full course. There is no Blended option
